Snorkeling
Up Diving Snorkeling Topside

7 mile beach

This is a nice 1 mile snorkel.  Start at cemetery beach, head out to the buoy about 250yds out, then from coral head to coral head south to the 200yd buoy a little past London House.  Then into shore and walk back.

Cemetery beach

5-10 minute walk from the house.  Shallow old reefs 50-100yds from shore, nice healthy coral heads further out both left and right of the buoy.  Our favorite place to go just before sunset.

Eden Rock

The entire Eden Rock/Devil's Grotto area is well worth exploring with coral heads rising to within 8 or 10' of the surface from the sand 30-40' below.  The perimeter of the area is well marked by buoys.

London House

We'd walk or snorkel down to London House.  The attraction here are a few turtles, barracuda, and stingrays that were usually there to greet us.

Turtle Reef

Enter using the divetech ladder and explore the ironshore shoreline up and down the coast.  Scorpionfish rest on the shallow coral ledges so watch what you bump into.  Swim out to the miniwall where a healthy reef drops from 30' to 60'.

Smith's Cove

Nice cove south of Georgetown with shallow coral heads close to shore and 30' dive sites a couple of hundred yards out.  The ironshore is interesting to explore as well.  Didn't get any good pics though.

Rum Point

Visibility wasn't too good when we were there but lots of snook under the pier and a few coral heads out past the marine park buoy.
